As tenant quality of life is priority at our rentals, we offer on-site management staff, 24 hour emergency maintenance, and several forms of communication available with the management office and tenants. Our company utilizes the newest forms of technology to allow for the most accurate and effective strategies for our rental portfolio.

Jeremy Yost

CEO

Jeremy Yost is a highly accomplished real estate developer and US Navy veteran with a passion for excellence and a track record of success. During his four years of active duty, Mr. Yost earned the distinction of Sailor of the Year twice for his command and was a two-time runner-up for Blue Jacket of the Year for Navy Region Midwest. Continuing his education, Mr. Yost attended the graduate school of technology at Eastern Illinois University and later completed his MBA through Michigan State University's online program. Since 2009, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive growth and achieve results.


In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Yost is a Master Mason at Masonic Lodge #35 in Charleston, Illinois. He is also deeply committed to giving back to his community and serves on the board of directors for Illinois Affordable Housing, NFP, Illinois Housing Council, Affordable Assisted Living Coalition as a current board member and on the legislative committee, and the South Central CoC. He has previously served on the Eastern Illinois University Panther Club Executive Board and was recently the Chair of Fundraising for EIU Athletics, EIU Foundation, Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Director, American Legion Post 93 Member & former American Legion Post 93 Finance Officer.


Mr. Yost's dedication to excellence and service is reflected in his numerous accolades and awards, including EIU Panther Club's Rookie of the Year for fundraising, Biggest Catch for EIU fundraising (twice), and Coles County Council on Aging Partner of the Year.

Amber Hendrickson

President

Amber Hendrickson serves as the President at Yost Management, bringing extensive expertise in education, business management, and housing operations. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Science from Richland College in Decatur and pursued further studies in education at Millikin University, earning her teaching certification. During her academic career, she was a distinguished member of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education, which recognizes excellence in the field and fosters professional collaboration among educators.


Amber began her career as an educator in the Decatur area, driven by a passion for early childhood education. She later transitioned into the housing industry, combining her interests in real estate and technology to develop and manage a free real estate platform for home sellers in Central Illinois, which she successfully operated for four years.


Since joining Yost Management in 2018, Amber has been instrumental in operations, compliance, and housing management, ensuring excellence across all aspects of property administration. While advancing her career, she pursued business studies at the University of Phoenix Business School, further strengthening her leadership in affordable housing and resident services.


Amber holds multiple industry certifications, demonstrating her deep expertise in housing compliance and property management, including:

Tasha howell

Office Manager

Tasha Howell comes from a proud Air Force family, spending much of her early life overseas before establishing roots in Illinois in 2004. With a strong foundation in leadership, human resources, and operations, she has spent the past decade in high-impact regional roles, specializing in talent acquisition, organizational development, and workforce strategy.


A proven leader with a strategic mindset, Tasha has successfully implemented initiatives that enhance workforce growth, optimize operational efficiency, and drive organizational success. Her ability to streamline processes, cultivate talent, and foster a high-performance culture has made her an invaluable asset to every organization she has served.


As Business Office Manager, Tasha brings her expertise in business operations, team development, and leadership to Yost Management, ensuring seamless office management and operational excellence.


Beyond her professional career, Tasha is an outdoor enthusiast and avid traveler. Whether hiking, fishing, or spending time at the lake, she thrives on adventure and exploration. She also has a passion for discovering new destinations and cultures, always seeking opportunities to expand her horizons.


Tasha resides in Charleston, Illinois, with her family, where she continues to bring passion, leadership, and strategic vision to everything she does.

Katie maples

Office Assistant

With over 15 years of experience in the banking industry, Katie brings a strong background in risk management, customer service, and operational leadership to Yost Management Services. She began her professional journey at the ground level and advanced to the role of Risk Officer, developing expertise in fraud prevention, compliance, client relations, and process improvement. Her time in banking honed her attention to detail and her ability to manage complex workflows with precision and integrity.


At Yost Management’s main office, Katie serves as a key member of the administrative team, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and that staff and residents receive timely, high-quality support. Her organizational skills, efficiency, and proactive mindset contribute to a positive, well-coordinated environment across all Yost properties.


Katie is passionate about continuous growth and has set her sights on moving up within the company, continuing to take on greater leadership responsibilities as Yost Management expands.


She currently resides in Charleston, with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with family, supporting her children’s activities, and finding new ways to challenge herself both personally and professionally.

Maintenance Director

As a Maintenance Director, Matt leads with a team-first mentality and a work ethic that is both unwavering and deeply rooted in personal values. His approach to leadership is shaped by a structured, military-influenced background, which brings discipline, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility to his role. He lives by the belief that every person deserves a safe and clean environment to live in, and this principle guides his daily work and the standards he sets for his team. His leadership is not only about maintaining buildings it’s about creating spaces where people feel secure, respected, and cared for.

 

Family is at the heart of everything he does. Married to his high school sweetheart for 19 years and a proud father of four, he works each day with his family in mind, embodying the values of dedication, loyalty, and service. His vast experience spans both small-scale and high-rise residential housing, with deep knowledge of INSPIRE and REAC standards. He is committed to staying current with evolving guidelines and regulations, ensuring that every property under his care meets the highest standards of safety and compliance. His blend of technical expertise, personal integrity, and heartfelt commitment to others makes him an exceptional leader and a trusted steward of the environments he maintains.

Miriam stabler

Marketing and Social Media Manager

Miriam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Corporate Communication at Eastern Illinois University and an Associate degree in Radio and TV Broadcasting at Lake Land College. While at Lake Land, she earned her Radio Marketing Professional Certificate, served as VP of the Broadcasting Club, and won a Silver Dome Award for Best Radio PSA from the Illinois Broadcasters Association. At university, she was inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the national honor society for communication majors, and volunteered with Students Today Leaders Forever, promoting servant leadership. She has also volunteered for the Special Olympics and the Alzheimer’s Association.


After graduation, Miriam worked as an Account Executive at Cromwell Radio Group before joining the Yost team at Heritage Woods of Charleston. She served as Marketing Director for six years and nearly two years as Executive Director. She transitioned to Yost Management Services in March 2025 as Marketing & Social Media Director and Student Rental Portfolio Manager.


Miriam loves to travel and has explored 38 states, England, Italy, Mexico, and five Caribbean countries. She also completed the iconic Route 66 road trip in 2025. Traveling all her life thanks to her father, a history teacher, she enjoys learning about the history of the U.S. and the world, discovering new cultures, and trying new foods.
Miriam lives in Charleston with her husband, Cory, and their dog, City.

shayna williams

Leasing Coordinator

Shayna holds an associate's degree in Education from Lake Land College and a bachelor's degree in Career & Technical Education with an emphasis in Business Education from Eastern Illinois University. During her time at college, she was a member of Delta Sigma Pi, which fosters the study of business in universities among other things.


With Shayna's passion for helping others, she's worked in various areas of customer relations prior to joining the Yost Management Team in 2019, where she currently works in housing. As the leasing coordinator, Shayna handles all application and leasing paperwork for the affordable housing developments as well as tenant file compliance management.


Shayna's qualifications include being a Fair Housing Specialist and Tax Credit Specialist. Shayna has also excelled in courses for the management company in Sexual Harassment Prevention and Leadership in Women.


Shayna resides in Charleston, Illinois, with her two daughters.

Mike wayne

Director of Accounting

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana. While at Purdue, Mike was a member of Phi Kappa Theta fraternity. While in college, Mike liked to give back to the community in ways such as, Big Brother’s Big Sister’s, the United Way, American Red Cross and the Lafayette Reading Academy.


After leaving Purdue, Mike has continued to donate his time and energy to organizations such as Charleston Junior Football League (Vice President), Charleston Rec Department and the American Red Cross.


After nearly 25 years in the manufacturing sector with positions ranging from Business Systems Analyst to Information System Specialist to Financial Analyst, Mike transitioned to Yost Management Services to help bring all external accounting systems under one roof. Mike enjoys the ability to bring affordable housing to some of our most vulnerable citizens.


Mike lives in Charleston with his wife, two kids and multiple pets.

Koltin winnett

Accounting Assistant

Koltin was born and raised in Charleston, Illinois, and is a proud graduate of Eastern Illinois University, where he earned his degree in Business Management. Growing up in a close-knit family instilled in him a strong sense of loyalty and values that continue to guide his professional and personal life.


Before joining Yost Management, Koltin spent several years in sales, developing strong communication and relationship-building skills. He’s now eager to apply his business management background and contribute to the continued success and growth of our organization.


Outside the office, Koltin enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his two dogs, George and Nash, and his wonderful girlfriend, Brylee.
